We Buy Books

Have books to rehome? We buy gently used books at competitive rates—one box or an entire collection.

How it Works

• In-store buys: Email us at rodneysbookstore@gmail.com to make an appointment in-store during our buying hours. Unfortunately we cannot take walk-ins because our buyers are not always in the store.
• House calls: For larger collections, we make home visits to evaluate and purchase on site.

What We Accept

• Gently used books in clean, resellable condition (no mold, heavy wear, smoke or water damage).
• Strong demand for the classics, philosophy, art & design, history, the humanities, and distinctive/rare titles.

What We Don’t Take

Books with significant damage, highlighting throughout, missing pages/dust jackets (when essential), or outdated textbooks/reference sets.

Payment & Rates

We offer competitive rates, paid as cash or store credit. Final offers are based on condition, demand, and current inventory.
